The set and the deck
Video plays on the television. Audio plays on the cassette. This is the UUEBCAST player: no tape is loaded yet, and the first recording goes on the shelf once it is cleared. The cards on the screen are the channels it will carry.

The reels turn only while the tape plays, and the tape moves from the left reel to the right as it goes. Press Play for a short tone from the deck itself; a real recording takes its place once one is cleared.
What goes on the shelf
Recordings play from our own hosting. Each one carries its date and its sources, the same as a story on the desk. Anything with other people's voices, credentials or legal questions is reviewed before it goes on the shelf, and nothing is deleted once it is up.
We do not sell coverage. No one buys a tape.
